You can't catch me, I'm the gingerbread man!
Dr. Pants is the oldest of three boys. When each of his younger brothers was born, his dad got gingerbread men - two big ones and two (then three) small ones to talk to Dr. Pants about how his family was growing and changing. Dr. Pants remembered this and wanted to get gingerbread men for Mr. Poop after the baby was born so we could talk about our family with him.
Neither of Dr. Pants' brothers were born in the holiday season (one in April, one in July), so I have no idea where his dad found a bakery with gingerbread men, but I can

You may have noticed that I've been a little bit absent from blogging for the last couple weeks. I have a good reason:
Her name is Evelyn, and she was born on August 1 at 1:17 AM. 7 lbs, 5 oz, 19.8 inches. She's pretty mellow, she likes to sleep on people, and she eats a lot. A lot. Like...dude. So much. It blows my mind. Anyway, we're all pretty happy and we're settling in.

Mr. Poop and Dr. Pants
planted a garden a few months ago. I mentioned
the dahlias last week, but now some of the other things they planted are starting to ripen. We've got lots of green tomatoes on our heirloom plant and the other dahlia is starting to show signs of blooming soon, but the most exciting thing is that we've been getting some fresh strawberries for a couple weeks.
Mr. Poop likes to pick the strawberries, so he keeps a watch on the deck to see if any are ready yet. "Mommy,
