I've known Tammy since high school. I'm not really sure when we first met, but we got to know each other well after we graduated and were roommates a few times. She lived in LA for awhile while she was getting her Master's and visiting her was like going back home again for awhile. Tammy is super fun and incredibly funny, and she recently moved in to a new apartment in Seattle. She bought the lonely pink and white peonies oven mitt for her new kitchen. For her birthday, I decided to make her a matching reversible half apron.
Pink and green are good Tammy colors. (And also purple, but I didn't have any purple fabric.) I had some fabric that matched the peonies and used that for the reverse side. I was really pleased with how well they coordinated, and then I realized that they were both from Heather Bailey's Pop Garden line. Duh.
Happy Birthday Tammy! I hope 29 is an awesome year.
