Who are we?

PenguinBot came about after its founder, Noisy Penguin, was given a sewing machine for her birthday many moons ago. Well, to be honest, the sewing machine sat in the closet for a little over a year after she got it because she was afraid of it. Her husband, Dr. Pants the sewing machine giver, likes to remind her of this fact. A few months before Noisy and Dr. Pants got married, however, she pulled it out and forced herself to learn how to use it so she could make table runners for the wedding. While out to dinner one night on their honeymoon, Dr. Pants suggested that Noisy create some of the bags she'd been talking about making now that she had conquered the sewing machine fear. So she did. She really liked it. Way more than she thought she would. She started obsessively buying fabric and stashing it in various places around their apartment. Her already ridiculous yarn stash reproduced and made an even more ridiculous yarn stash. She started making bags to give to friends. Then those friends asked if they could buy bags to give to their friends. Then Noisy's internet friends wanted in on the action. Because he is filled with awesomeness, Dr. Pants, AKA Most Amazing Husband Ever, created this fabulous website so she can sell her bags to people in a more professional manner.

Noisy Penguin:

Noisy Penguin makes all the items in the PenguinBot store by hand. When she's not doing that, you can usually find her hanging out with Dr. Pants and their son, Mr. Poop. She enjoys baseball, penguins, beer, cupcakes, baking, and traveling. While she studied creative writing in college, Noisy is terrible at writing things about herself.

Dr. Pants:

Dr. Pants isn't actually a doctor. Not yet anyway. He's stuck in the middle of the many years of school it takes to be a double doctor. We're sure all that school will pay off someday. We're not sure quite what to think about someone who thinks 20 years of school is a good idea, but we're confident he'll figure things out someday. Dr. Pants is PenguinBot's resident computer-guy and amateur techie. If you don't like the look of the website, complain to Dr. Pants. He might listen to you. But maybe not. He's still a beginner at the doctor-skill of not listening. He enjoys baseball, statistics, beer, cooking, eating things Noisy has baked, and traveling.
